anti-theft alarm control unit location

Does anyone know where the control unit for the anti-theft system lives on a 1990 350SDL? My door locks activate by themselves, within about 15 seconds after unlocking doors, they automatically lock back, doors open or shut, key on or off, I don't think this is normal. I don't want to disable locking function of system, just the disable the control unit, but I have not been able to locate it so far, any help will be appreciated.

I ought to be under the passenger side foot rest, behind a large black plastic panel. If I remember right, the airbag control unit is down there too, so watch yourself.

You know...it almost sounds as if your lines on your aux vacuum pump are reversed. (that's in the spare tire well, right side, towards the rear)

Airbag module has a RED connector.

srs module is on hump under console rearward of shifter, control unit for door locks is NOT behind panel on right side front floor well. I thought maybe someone knew where it was and could save me the trouble of chasing out the wires from the pump in the truck to the control module, thanks anyway though.

You asked where the anti theft module is, not where the Supplemental Restraint System module is.
As a matter of fact, I have no stinkin idea where the SRS module is, because I never had an issue with it when I owned a 126.

As far as I know, there isn't a module for that. It's all vacuum operated, with the exception of the vacuum pump (in the trunk).
I thought your post (#4 in this thread) contained attitude...seemed like it, but you can't really tell with just written word - In my mind, I wash dishing out the same that was served. But, that isn't all that important in the scheme of things.
The alarm, and the doorlocks are and aren't connected - you will note two switches in the door frame by the hinges - one for the dome lights and one for the alarm (door opens, alarm sounds) There is however a switch of sorts, that is by the lock, that will turn off the alarm system before you actually ever open the door - so the alarm never sounds.

If you should decide to be curious, and check back here...have a look at the vacuum pump...there is circuitry in there (what it does exactly, I don't know - could just be pressure switches) but it's the biggest electronic player in the locking system itself.

Good Luck
