Oil filter on 190E

Hi all,

This sounds like a stupid question I know, but I just got my 190E 2.0 litre 1990 car and I can't find the oil filter? I suspect it is under the air filter housing, but surely I do not need to remove the whole air filter housing to change the oil filter. Please help.

Also, what kind of oil filter is it? The screw on disposable cartridge kind or the kind that comes in a little pot with a through bolt?

Thanks for any help.

Ray
