Bosch H7DCO - But from where?

Hi everybody,

Im trying to source a set of non resistor Bosch H7DCO spark plugs.
Anybody know where i can buy these from as the dealer now only sells the resistor type.

Many thanks

Most guys go to NGK replacement...

zakh 06-05-2008 12:38 PM

Im after the non resistor type...
Do NGK do this?
Ideally i'd like Bosch

Arthur Dalton 06-05-2008 12:40 PM

BP6EFS..

Way better plugs than Bosch..

Thanks Arthur. are these correct fitment for a 190E 2.5-16?

Arthur Dalton 06-05-2008 12:48 PM

year?

zakh 06-05-2008 12:51 PM

1990...16v version

I assume you mean 2.6 /103.942 engine..

Bosch replacement is HR9DC, so the NGK as stated will replace the original Bosch Non R H9DC plug.

zakh 06-05-2008 01:05 PM

nope...its the 2.5-16v cosworth engine

Arthur Dalton 06-05-2008 01:21 PM

Ok .... an EVO

I don't have a chart on it , but the BP6EFS NGK is the non resistor repalacement for the Bosch H7DC.. so , that is what guys are using unless you can find some Bosch NOS somewhere.

Sometimes NAPA still has them..but I prefer NGK since Bosch started making plugs in India..........
You may want to try the serch feature in the Performance forum..they will tell you what they like the best..or even MBDOC will know ..he raced one.

No its a standard 2.5-16V :-)
I really appreciate the help...
The original plug for this car was the H7DCO...

Ok
NGK /BP6EFS is the replacement for that. [ H7DCO]
..but, if you are want a higher heat with a H9DCO, you want the NGK BP5EFS.
Be aware that Bosch heat increases with the higher # , whereas NGK decreases heat as the # increases..

Your stock plug is the one I first mentioned ..BP6EFS on NGK.

Yes, If you want OEM heat range ..
if high mileage or in-town driving, you can bump it to the 5 , but that is just something that is owner preference.

Please can you elaborate on the heat range thing...Im very Interested
