Wire connections for replacement 210 blower regulator.

Finally bought a new blower motor, regulator and plastic cover to replace my burned out original in my E300 Turbo Diesel.

The new regulator is fundamentally different in that it requires a new harness.

I say bull*****,all I need to know is the right connection for the 3 wires which are in plug-in form for the replacement, but are individually connected to the OEM Aluminum frame regulator.
It may be worth mentioning the new motor mounting frame is plastic, hence the re-designed regulator.
The original had an aluminium frame with a smaller regulator.

Anyone shed some light on this "superseded conversion"?

What year?
Is the old blower with regulator from w140?
Where you got it?

Is yours a 99 E300?

There are very specific chassis cutoff numbers for that part. Mine was a early 99 production model (7/98?) and its reg was PNP replaceable w/o need for the new blower, etc.

Well, sorry for being so vague...car's a '98.For all I know the old regulator{a replacement anyway}is still good, can't use it on account of the plastic motor mount mentioned above. It was the blower motor was burned out,the brushes reached the limit of their wear, carboned up the commutator and fried a winding from lack of motion so a new motor was required.
Got it and the new-style regulator for a damn good price anyway.
Don't know about chassis numbers but here's the Vin plus the metal plate under the hood.
Also the old regulator with the 3 wires that need to go to the 3 pins on the new regulator.I've got tons of connectors.just need to know which goes where.

Mines 50% apart. I'll see if I can get a photo of it for you in the morning.

Your chassis # is the last 7 of your vin.
