no fire

i have an 86 mercedes 420sel,while i was driving the car died,i have no fire,i replaced ignition coil & wires still no fire also replaced what i thought to be the crank sensor on frt of motor still no fire,can anyone help?if you think it is the cranksensor would it go out all of a sudden while driving or could it be the ign module?

Do a search on that ..I think the sensor is on the flywheel for ignition..the front one is rpm...

The one on the front is a device used for testing by a tool that was never sold in the US. The crank sensor that runs the ignition is in the rear of the engine.
