'99 210 Timing Cover

99 210 w/128k miles -- looks like the tensioner failed, broke the belt, and the belt wrapped around the crank and destroyed the timing chain cover.

Anybody ever replaced the tc cover? How difficult is it to remove the oil pan and are there special tools required/available to support/lift the motor to remove pan?

Any other gotchas that should keep me from doing this myself and just paying the $2k the shop wants to do it (!) ?

Thanks in advance.
