Dealer Badges should not be put on cars
 

I have always removed any dealer badges on my cars immediately and never had any problem getting them off ..... I lifted one edge and used vise grips to pull them off. Best move is to tell the dealer "no dealer ID on my car when delivered!!" (That includes license plate frames that ID the dealer.) This is one of my pet peeves about car dealers.

I always used Meguiers cleaner-wax to rub the final residue off - always worked fine, took about 30 seconds. Isopropal alcohol works well too - 70% - and won't damage the paint at all (unless it's an airbag cover on a PT Cruiser!)
