Charlottesville, VA Indie Shop Recommendation, Anyone?

I know, I know....wrong forum. Please forgive me....I need to post where the traffic is!

I am about to acquire a good condition 1987 300SDL. My wife calls this a "scheme" of mine. My daughter, who just graduated from college, was going to deplete her entire savings to buy a Civic or Camry or some such thing. When I discovered the SDL opportunity, I said to wife and daughter, "Tell you what: save your money, I'll buy this Mercedes, and you can use it for the next few years until you get your grandmother's Accord." So daughter saves money, and I ultimately acquire another Benz which my son can eventually drive! Yes, it does sound like a scheme...and a good one at that.

Anyway, my daughter will be living in Charlottesville, VA for at least the next year. So I need to find a good, completent indie shop that I can send her to....I may literally not even see the car for two years or so, so I have to find some place I can trust.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much!

Hi David,
I'm not to sure about Indy shops in the area, but I can recommend Brown Mercedes / Saab in Charlottesville. They are a very small dealership and are great to deal with. I have taken my car there for work on occasion and have never been disappointed. They're not afraid to work on older cars either. The head mechanic's name is Kevin and he seems to love seeing older cars come in. He was pretty excited to see my W140 come rolling into his bay! The prices are reasonable too.
