this is where mine is, i think its way too far to the center, i am replacing visible engine vaccum lines/connectors, but this seems like it would be a largeish noticable leak?

where to look?

Just went out and looked, right at 800 rpms.

ah not RPMS but wheres the economy gauge during idle? I think there is a vaccuum leak somewhere which is why mine neverrrrr goes completley to the left when driving

Thats where mine idles in drive.

mine is all the way to the left at idle, yes touching the pin that marks the end. Oh and idles in park at like 800rpm but like 550 in drive

500 in drive... seems like it should be higher.

Yeah, that vacuum needle seems a little low. My 103 pegs it to the left in neutral (of course) and sits just a hair to the left of the "E" when warmed up in Drive at 600 rpm. a very minor change in idle speed when in "Drive" will have quite an effect on the vacuum guage (say for 600 down to 500). But it should easily peg the meter in neutral, or when driving very slightly downhill.
