removal & replacement of distributor cap & rotor M103 motor
Ok I know I should not be affraid to change the distributor cap & rotor on my wifes 92 300E M103 engine. It seems to be the only service since we got the car that has not been done.
I hate to bring it to a Benz Mechanic just for this simple job. can some one tell me the correct way to do this job. The plug wire ends seem very tight on the cap, should I use a spark- plug puller tool? Is there some were on the forum that in The Do It your self jos I can look. Thanks again |
Bob, I did that job on my '92 300E when I bought my car four years ago as a preventative measure. Give me a call at your convenience and I'll tell you about my experience. It was essentially a straight forward job but requires a little bit of patience along with the proper metric allen wrenches.
