Can I start to mix and use silicone brake fluid in all of my cars, to get the benefit that it is not affected by moisture -- as stated in another thread in this site?? I would like to use it in my two Mercedes and my Corvette. Thanks, Ben Carter

Never use silicone brake fluid (DOT-5) in any system designed for DOT-3 or DOT-4. It will compromise your seals and could cause complete brakes system failure.

I thought that was the case but just wanted some verification of it. I will continue to use the proper brake fluid. Ben Carter

Like MIKE L said. No doubt about it.
