One Key?
Does anyone know if it is possible to re-key my locks so they all work from the same key again without replacing all of the locks? I have two different keys, one only works the drivers door and the other only works the trunk and ignition. I can't lock the glove box or unlock the passenger door with a key.

I'm not sure, but maybe the dealer can sell you a tumbler keyed to your orignal key which works in the ignition, and trunk.
You never said if the key works in the passenger side, but I am assuming only the drivers door lock was changed. Check with your local dealership, while you are at it, you can order some fresh keys form the factory too. Or perhaps the tumbler from the passenger side can be put on the drivers side. that way the other key will work in that door while the main key works in the 3 you want. Alon |
You should be able to give the Mercedes Benz dealer the VIN of your car and they can order a key to fit the original locks.

To get one key that works in all locks and the ignition you can give the VIN to the dealer and order locks keyed like the original. These locks also come with one key each. It sounds like there might be something wrong with the passenger side lock and with the glove box lock. Ordering one original key from Mercedes Benz (cost ~$20) will help determine what is original and what is not. I was thinking you might have some Valet keys, but they do not work in the trunk or glove box.
