Slk 320 engine malfunction
All,
I am from Brazil so apologise if I am not using the accurate tech words. I have an SLK 320 2001 with 40.000 kilometers. When the engine is cold (temperature below 80 degrees celsius) it is "caughing" and sometimes " dying", but it re-starts promptly. When the engine is hot it works perfectly. I already replaced the air mass sensor and the spark plugs. I sent the car to a MB dealer, which ran the scanner and no malfunction has been identifyed. They really do not know what the problem is and I am looking for help otherwise I will have to replace every single suspicious part and believe me, I will be in trouble because parts down here are really expensive (2,5 x price in US). I would very much appreciate your help. I am very disappointed honestly, because I would not expect to face such a problem with a MB car. |
Possibly the fuel quality OR even brand. Has the filter been replaced?
