201 door check mechanism straight swap into 124?
 

title says it all. just picked up my 4th 124 (!!) and have a bad strap mechanism on the driver's door. I have a 201 I just pulled the solid mechanism from. did the search gig here, no definitive answer.

is this a direct swap? no part numbers evident on the 201 piece. if it matters they are both 1989 model year.

others willing to help? searched the epc, no joy as of yet.

Using the allpartsexpress section of this site, you should be able to determine that they use the same part for the 124 and the 201.
Double check with the correct years....I took a bit of a stab at those.
