MAF upgrade for "99 S500 ?
 

My '99 S500 is giving an error code for a MAF malfunction and showing signs of a bad MAF and I want to replace it. I noticed some people refer to upgrading to an aftermarket MAF. Is there an better MAF than the OEM or should I stay with OEM?

They aren't up-grading! They are trying to spend less in the short-term.
Most of those cheap MAF's or MAF "inserts are CHEAP junk from China!

Stick with an OE Bosch unit.
