Slow shifts.....modulator pressure?
 

I took the car to a mechanic who said that he was going to adjust the transmission as it seems to shift harder than he thought....I agreed that it shifts a little hard with a clunk so he went ahead and did it.

...but it shifts real slow now. Its like it lags at the top of the gear before switching if you let off the gas near the top instead of shifting right away.

I am assuming he adjusted the modulator pressure....Does this sound like something that is okay or should I go in and adjust it myself....DIY?

If you touch it yourself, you will negate any claim to your mechanic's fixing it w/o pay. Since - I assume - you paid for this adjustment, go back and have him back off on the adjustment.

Well Enrique @ Mr MB Motors up in Tarzana adjusted it for me when I dropped the car off....but hes a good 75 miles away so I don't want to travel all the way up there for this. Maybe I'll ask somebody close by....Or is it DIY'able?
