I have a 2002 CLK 320 and the front end and chassis make "clunking" noise when just one of the front tires goes over a bump, like when entering a parking lot. I’ve had a garage look at it and they didn’t see anything wrong, but I can’t believe this is a normal noise. The woman I purchased the car from said it has always made the noise.

Any ideas?

can be caused from a lower control arm bushing OR a sway bar link.
