Convert R134 back to R12
 

I have a 560 SEL and I have tried to research this exhaustive subject on this board (many thanks to posters). Not sure if I have seen this answer however.

My AC blows cool not cold, and mechnic says he added a bit of R134, but compressor and eveything else was OK, noting if I wanted it colder we could "try" to revert to R12. How common is this? Can it (should it be done)?

Should I just live with this? ould be nice to get that colddddd feeling in my lovely car during Texas summers over 100 degrees.
