Will the insides from an OE xenon fit inside an OE halogen enclosure?
I have two sets of headlights, one halogen in perfect condition and the other xenon, both with broken mounting tabs. Can I take the xenons apart and put them in the halogen enclosure? This is for my 98 W210. Appreciate any input.

Regardless of fit, I think the main obstacle here is that the Xenon enclosures are designed with different reflectivity characteristics than Halogen. So even if you manage a perfect swap, you won't get the desired light output.
