How to replace air filter for 2006 E350???
 

can anyone show me how to replace the air filters for my 2006 E350 ??? I was able to remove the front enginne cover but not the rear cover... I see there is a big metal clip in the back... Thanks:D

How do you remove the rear cover that contains the filters???

pop the rear top large clip and remove the 1 inch rubber air pump hose front, pull up, 4 phil screws ea side filter diy

I believe there is a clip on rear but I can't remember. Either way, you've got to pull straight up on the back cover with all your might. You will swear you're going to break something, but it just requires a lot of force.

Be careful when handling the filter housing; the plastic is very hard and has VERY sharp edges - I sliced my finger open on it!
