W124 eccentric bolt replacement
1993 300D; one of the front control arm eccentric bolts is worn (eccentric washer tab worn-nut side) this is preventing a good alignment (negative camber).
My question is can this bolt be replaced without spring compressor, and dismantling the control arm? Can I put a jack under the control arm and knock out the eccentric bolt with a hammer? Will the control arm move so as to not be able to line up holes and get new eccentric bolt to go in? (each control arm has two eccentric bolts). The one that needs replacement is the one towards the front.
