After fighting all day yesterday trying to get the cruise control amp out I realized this morning that the mounting bracket was held on with one bolt. Ten minutes later it was on my work bench. Now my problem, the part number on my unit is 001 545 7632 There are a number of units on Ebay for sale that list as fitting a 380sl,but none have this part no. Does anyone have a list of other part numbers that will work or know of a site that I can find out. I fully intend to open this one up and resolder it but if that does not work I would like to have another one to put back in.

I could be wrong, but I think any unit with the same number of pins and no coding plug will work. I have an open post on the coding plug question that no one has answered. The part numbers are widely varied over the years/models. The main thing is that the amplifier/actuator are compatible. Yours probably has the electric actuator and 14 pin amplifier.
