190E 2.6 1991 Coolant drip & vacuum modulator connection

1) I see coolant dripping on this 190E 2.6L 1991 at what seems to be the end of a pipe leading to the HEATER CORE, which is deep inside the dash panel. Is this correct?

2) The heater pipe connected to the water pump and running across the top front of engine is dripping at the water pump connection. This seems like a bad mechnical connection allowing drips. Maybe it needs a new O-ring or a sealant. Any help would be appreciated?

3) Also, the vacuum line to the transmission is clogged at the intake manifold side, the car no longer down shifts when flooring the accelerator. See the attached vacuum line photo to what should be the vacuum modulator end. The connection seems broken at the transmission side. I remember visiting this area 9 years ago when draining the xmission fluid from the torque converter and changing the xmission filter. Possibly with the pan off, the vacuum modulator connection is easier to reach to replace the vacuum line.

I remember looking at the latching mechanism on the vacuum modulator connection now it looks difficult to proceed with the vacuum line or modulator replacement. Any ideas on this?
