210 E class headlight lens install
 
Whats the trick to installing the new lens? It has a thick gasket and I can't get it on.

The W210 Headlight lens is held in place with sealer. MB Does Not use gaskets on the W210 headlight assy..sealer for the lens and o rings on the bulb access cover

Use a heat gun to soften the glue

Ive done several ..Do NOT over heat the lens...

Depends on whether first or second generation....

Got it done. It's a '99, the seal on the new lens was huge. The original had a smaller seal.
