Fuel Pump Relay question

I just bought a fuel pump relay from a junk car. It is a KAE 3.301.300. My has a 3.301.350 on it. I did try it and it works...I am afraid of long term ill effects...Would it work?

Thanks!

fuel

check the out fuel pressure specs. and that will tell you the difference if any at all. compare the two pressures call a dealer and see if there is a great pressure difference and if there is a higher pressure on the one you installed get a reg and install on the out line and set to specs jegs.com sells fuel regulators. just check current rating on the replacement relay and see if it has a higher rated contacts then you will be fine. sorry misread you question i thought you had replaced a fuel pump.

I am really sure what you mean by higher rating...

The only noticeable difference is:

On the 3.301.300, 6 cyl., 6.450 1/min
On the 3.301.350, 6 cyl., 6.350 1/min

Other than that, they are identical.

Rev limiting to 6,450 rpm vs 6,350 rpm. How fast do you want to drive? -CTH

If the only difference is the rev lim...

If that is correct, I should work with no long term problems...Right?
