124 driver seat update

I have a driver seat from a 92 300E to put in my 87 300D. Looks like a straight swap except the connectors on the memory module are a little different. Oh, I know the 87 has a memory seat. I don't know if the 92 is a memory seat but it has a module rather than just the bunch of relays on non-memory passenger seats.

What are my options for making this work? The ETM says the switch wiring is completely different between 87 and 92 so it's not a matter of moving pins to 92 connectors. Can I move the 87 memory module to the 92 base? Do I have to transfer the 92 cushions to the 87 track?

The non-memory passenger side was an easy swap but the headrest riser doesn't work. Before I tear into the seat, can someone tell me if it's more likely a wiring mismatch?

Thanks,
Sixto
