wild idle fixed
 

Thank you to all who have helped me with my wild idle problem on my 87 260E especialy to rudy, benzat,zee, blackmercedes, etc. You guys pointed me to the right direction. It was indeed the idle control unit which was at fault. Lucky for me the unit was still ok. All I did was disconnected the unit, cleaned the contacts, and connected it back on. And like magic, the idle was fixed and was steady at 600rpm whether i turn the aircon and all the lights on. Im so happy I would probably cruise around for hours in my baby. She now drives like a new car. This site is the best.
