Question 84 500 SEC turn signal relay replacement help

my turn signal is clicking away like mad and flashing even quicker, on a 84 500 SEC where is it located and where can i get access to it? How do you remove instrument cluster or control panel? Tips and advice needed.

Yeah, thats what I was going to say... a bad bulb will cause this... Not sure how far back though the models that do this are. My 1988 does because I have a bad bulb on one side. My 85' never had a bad signal bulb during ownership, so I cannot comment on that one. It did flash a little faster overall though on both sides than most other cars/Mercedes (but not as fast as a blown bulb causes), which I liked better. It blinked about 2-3 times per second, whereas a blown bulb will blink about 5-6 times per second?

Red face first guess was right

Well it is the modual and on the w126 the instiment panel just pulls out with a butter knife. The modual is on a small harness in the middle. Junk yard here I come.
Any suggestions for a winter beater MB for $3000?
