M110 timing

I have a 1974 280. Is it possible to get the timing 180 out and it still run? I have made sure #1 is TDC and the pointer was at 00. It still seems to run labored. It may also be that the fuel is a little old. The car did sit for a little while since it was last ran.

Hi,

Change all the fuel ie - completely before doing anything else..
