does anyone have a 210 without lighted visor mirrors?
I'm looking for replacement visor mirrors for my sister's 2000 E320 wagon. The mirrors don't have lighting like all the other E320s I see. Was this a delete option?
Thanks, Sixto 87 300D |

Here's a picture showing an illuminated mirror housing against the visor with "unilluminated" mirrors.

I'm not sure why MB would make such a small convenience (illumination) an option, and based on the year, I would be more inclined to believe that there are flush-mounted lamp housings on the headliner that precluded the use of the visor lamps.
My 07 ML has this setup.

Illuminated mirrors were an option on ALL worldwide markets except for the U.S. Just a few top models like the 600 had them standard. Same happened with power windows, A/C, power seats and even radios.
Mercedes have learned that such an expensive brand looks stupid to have a car like an S-class without radio, power seats, A/C and even illuminated vanity mirrors.

I think G-Benz nailed it. I asked my sister to check.
