New to MB ownership, but having starting problems

I am trying to find a reasonable priced repair shop or mechanic for a 1989 MB 300E in Calgary AB. Having issue starting, very hard to start and now vehicle is running very rough. Any suggestions out there. New to the MB ownership.

I would start off by inspecting plugs, wires, cap+ rotor and filters. Do you know when these items were last changed? How many km on the car? Is it hard to start all the time or only when either hot or cold? When do you experiencing it running rough?

Vehicle had new eha value, throttle sensor plate serviced, check valves replaced, new plugs, wires, fuel pump in Feb 09. Vehicle has 96,000 miles, originally a US vehicle. Wondering if injectors the issue, had that looked at then as well and was told it was fine.

Vehicle experiences the most problems on cold start. Vehicle is garaged, not heated, but out of the elements.

maperc, remove the distributor cap and check for corrosion/deposits on the cap internals and the rotor. Clean/replace as required.
