W124- E300 M103 yr1992 – COLD START VALVE ACTIVATION

Can any advise on how to activate the cold start valve on the m103 w124 thru the fuel relay plug. FYI I have the fuel relay replaced with a regular relay that is placed in a different location, this allows me to run 6% more RPM and hit the soft cut out rather than the fuel cut out (especially important as my car is turbo charged and the last thing u want is to cut fuel supply on full load) any way thus I have clear access to the fuel relay plug. I need to know if it is possible to activate the cold start injector by jumping the pins on the fuel relay plug.

Thanks ur urgent help guys

I think the cold start vavle is activated and controlled by the fuel computer, the black box behind the battery, the one with three rows of connectors. Are you thinking the cold start vavle is controlled by the MAS relay?

K, the cold start is controlled by the fuel relay, atleast the negative pin of the coldstart plug is directly connected to pin number 4 on the fuel relay.
Now the cold start to function, as we all know on mercs and same for all mercs, u need to ground the command pin. ie grounding pin four on the fuel relay should triger the cold start.
now i did check all connectivity and all is well, i have directly powered the valve and its working. Yet grounding pin 4 is not doing anythin, :S
