C43 Viscous Fan Clutch Nut

Hello,
What direction do I turn the 36mm fan clutch nut, clockwise or counter? The direction the fan turns is CC, so I am assuming right to loosen (left hand threads). Thanks.

Threads on mine are right handed.

I believe if the threads are right handed then you go left to loosen.

Am I correct in assuming that it's right to loosen and left to tighten?
