low brake pedal
i have a 89 mbz 300e. i just replaced front and rear brake calipers, rotors, brake lines, pads, brake fluid, and brake master cylinder. (i also bled the brakes). the brake pedal seems to be alot lower than normal. does anyone have a clue why the brake pedal is so low. there difinetely is no air in the lines, and the car is stopping with no problem just that the pads are gripping when the pedal is lower than normal?
could it be the brake booster or the vacuum line that goes into the brake booster? is there a way to test the vacuum line? Last edited by aiino; 09-24-2001 at 08:09 PM. |
