Ambitous 560SEC seller
My usual drive to work was abruptly delayed by a marvelous looking 560SEC sitting on a corner lot outside a garage with a "For Sale" sign. Of course, I had to pull over and take a look. It was a 1990 model, Black on Black, with 198,000 miles. The paint had some oxidation on the roof, and the drivers seat was badly torn. Some very cheap after market wheels further detracted from this car, along with some pimptastic DIY window tinting.
Since no details other than "For Sale" and a phone number were offered, I decieded to call the seller for the heck of it. Surprisingly, the voice on the other line was a woman, who said she wanted to downsize her fleet of 3 Mercedes. She also stated that absolutely everything was working on the car. Logically, my next question was the asking price. She responded, "Eleven five". Just to clarify, I asked, "you mean Eleven fifty right?" Her answer, "Nope, Eleven thousand five hundred dollars." All I could utter was, "that's all I needed to know" and hung up. The ignorance of some sellers never ceases to astound me. |
That's not ignorance.
That's greed. |
OH but it's a RARE car!!!!! Yeah Right, and so are both of mine.....LOL

Thats not greed, thats just plain stupidity ;)

that person was throwing around numbers like someone that does nothing but spend thousands on cars and saying "thousand" is pointless..
effing tard. Well I stopped saying "hundred" once I bought the stupid Irish car. But my Ferrari friends wish they could go back to those days. |
