Central locking system problem

Picked up my 95 300E Diesel today from a body shop for touch up repainting of the front passenger door and I noticed that the door lock will not push down on the front passenger door, nor will the key cylinder in that door move it or any of the other locks (the key cylinder moves left to right but no locks move). The drivers side door locks all the doors expect the front passenger side.

Obviously the body shop messed something up; is this a simple fix that I should take back to the body shop or should I bring it to the dealer or an MB guru to prevent further damage?

IT'S your money... I'd ask the body shop to refund OR repair the problem that didn't exist before.

I'd take it back, but I'd also pull the door panel myself. It's amazing how many body shops snap clips and otherwise damage your door panel when doing something they should know how to do anyway.

And if you're gonna do that, might as well just go ahead and fix whatever they forgot to hook up.

Then, call your friend at your local indy shop, describe the problem to him, and have him carve out an invoice for fixing it.

Then go present the invoice to the body shop.... That'll teach 'em.

It was a bolt they forgot to connect. All is well!

Scary how they put cars back together.
