Cruise Amp location on 1990 190E
 

My father's 190E needs the cruise amp replaced. I have performed this procedure on my '83 300D and know that my amp is under the front driver's side.

However, I originally thought that on the 190E that the amp was in the passenger floor board. But I have been told by another person that it is located under the driver's side like mine.

Where is it? and what is the proper procedure to use to access the amp?

The cruise control ECU is under the Passenger side carpet, under a plastic cover.

I appreciate your help. Now I won't pull out the driver's side and end up putting it back together for nothing.
