Jacking up rear from diff?????
Is it harmfull to jack up the rear from the diff? should i place a piece of wood between the jack and the diff?

On some MB's that have the diff mounted in rubber then you can put a lot of un-needed stress on the mounts. ON your car the diff is mounted solidly to the subframe so no harm. Always use JACK stands before getting under the car!!!!

jacking up from diff
thanks for the reply. i did jack it up form the diff to change my brakes. i double checked to see if it is mounted to the subframe and it was, every thing went smoothly. of course i used a block of wood between the jack and diff.
