W140 Tranny is toast, what else will work?
The tranny (722.622) in my '96 S420 is toast. (only 122k) I'm looking for a good used tranny. Question: am I limited to exactly the same unit - 722.622, or can a later unit work, say from a '00 S430 (722.632)?
What are my parameters/limits? |
W/O installing a new trans control unit $$$$ as well. only a trans from a 1996-97 S500 or S420 or 1997 E420 will directly bolt-in.
