Long-Term Storage of Fuel Distributors?

In my quest to get spares for my cars, I got in spare fuel distributors for my 380 and 560 (w/EHA). The 380's is very clean, and the 560's was rebuilt by Bosch; I'm pretty sure that both are good and unmolested. I noticed that the 560's plunger was a little gummy, so I took it out and freed it with a little brake cleaner (put it together the same way it was, same height, lock washer rebent, etc.). But it occured to me, that there may be residual gasoline, etc in both. What would be the best way for me to store these? They were removed in the typical way, by pinching off and cutting all of the metal hoses, leaving the fittings on and (sort of) sealing them. They are in plastic ziplock baggies in a climate-controlled room.

I hope I never have to use them but...

Someday, people are going to be really sorry that all of those metal tubing assemblies were cut...
