I cant say how grateful I am to Mark2590. I needed to get my old cylinder lock out and the detailed instructions supplied by Mark were the answer. I did hesitate for a bit when the fellow at the repair shop said it could be tricky. I went back to Marks instructions, sucked it up and now I'm good to go. The trick was having the wire tool and being patient. If you ever need to replace the cylinder, get to your happy place, take a deep breath and take your time. I can't explain the rush when the tool (after only a few tries) just magically went into place and the cylinder just slid right out. Then with the tool in place on the new cylinder it went back in just as easy(Actually I thought I did it wrong cause it was too easy) Thanks again Mark for the great instructions. If I have any other question on my 300E I know where to go.
