NG on the price a 7000LB 4 post lift is cheeper than the 7000Lb truck model. In fact you can get a 9000Lb 4 post Bend Pak for about $300 more than this 7000 Lb Truck Model. I would not be surprised to find a 5000-6000 Lb 4 post lift for the same price as this car model.

A four-poster would be a lot more functional, that's for sure. The rolling jack that you'll want is another grand, but it adds even more utility.
I'd prefer a two-post in-ground (cassette) lift, but that probably won't happen any time soon. My garage floor would need to be entirely replaced to put an above-ground two-poster in there. |

Ah, but you're wrong
"NG on the price a 7000LB 4 post lift is cheeper than the 7000Lb truck model."
VG on the price. It works very well putting my little Mercedes at a comfortable working height in my garage with a 10' ceiling. And I can have the hood open when it's on the lift. No electricity, no hydraulics, and best of all . . . no lift cables. Excellent quality and no 1700 lb. shipping charges. I would have bought a Bend Pak if I had a 20' ceiling in my garage. Not sure what you mean by "cheeper". |

True.. but I am not talking about GVWR vehicle, I have a truck that on the scales weighs 9000 pounds and I would have liked to use it on that truck if I could. But... that one is an exception so I guess its a no go for that one. But no... this one actually WEIGHS 9000 pounds as it sits.

Heavy duty truck
Kwik Lift has a 14,000 lb. model for forklifts but I don't know if it would work for you.

The Kwiklift is pretty cool. I like that you can park on it, it accomdates any width from very narrow to very wide, and that it's mobile.

For that amount of money I could build a similar device out of super strong wood, and still save $$!
