Looking at '83 380 SEL W/ 276k on it--any known problems or opinions?
 

I am interested in a nicely kept 380 SEL near me and need any opinions or things to watch for when purchasing. I was looking at a 380 SEC a while back and was told the of the timing chain problems. Do these problems exist for the SELs also? I searched the archives and it seems like a decent car. Please help--all responses appreciated.

The 380SEC shares it's 3.8 liter engine with the 380SEL.
