rough Idle & loss of power

1)When my car is cold it seems to have more power.
2) I'm also experiencing rough idling when the car is hot.
3) I really have to step on the acceleration pedal to get my car to move quickly.
Be advised that I have installed a new OVP. No improvement.
What else should I look for?

First, I would look at the spark plugs. Next, check for corrosion on the resistor-ends of the spark plug cables, distributor cap and rotor. Then look into fuel and air filters. Finally, maybe, run some additives in the fuel. Beyond that, it is time to take it to the technician, unless you have the manuals on CD, digital multimeter, hand-held vacuum tester, time, etc. Cheers, Andrew Seidel.
