Please help me identify this 722.xxx trans part
1 Attachment(s)
Not photo of my trans (in car), but the arrowed part is leaking. Please tell me what it is, if it is vital to replace and if so, how. Thanks. Michael

That is the end of the B2 reaction valve. There is a o-ring in the trans case that will need replacement.
Requires removal of the B2 piston & valve body. |

I removed the B2 piston, VB, LC, and Intermediate plate when I changed my B2 piston thrust pin, seals, etc. I was able to do this with the trans in the car. Can this procedure be done with the trans in the car? Thanks. Michael |
Yes. I would think 2-3 hrs total time.
