Any recommendations?

A new compressor is most likely NOT available for that car. If it was list price would be $1200 +.

Just get a Denso factory reman unit, they are as good as new!

Thanks! How can I make sure I buy a factory rebuilt one? Mine has been strong but the main seal is leaking.

I would think they'd all be rebuilt in a factory, but it wouldn't be MB's factory. It sounds like you're looking for the comfort of buying from the dealership.

I assume that you mean the shaft seal. Why not see if you can find someone to R&R that seal for you? Sometimes this can even be done without even removing the compressor, but the job does require special tools.

IF you buy a reman unit that is done by DENSO, you will get the best product!
That is the same as the dealers sell!

Great Info! Where can you get those specifically rebuilt by Denso compressors?
