85 500SEL electrical trouble

85 500SEL electrical trouble

Alternator went South. Replaced it along with battery. ABS light is on and idle is at 1200 RPM. Replaced Voltage Protection relay thinking that was the problem...it wasn't. All fuses are good and now I am not sure where to look next. Please advise.
