Need help to find shade-tree mechanic OBD for 1995 SL500

Anyone have any suggestions to obtain an OBD for the '95 SL500. Any Brands to recommend? Anything out there translate codes for you? Any help would be appreciated. Steve

Just do the home built code reader. You have a 38 pin connector in the right rear of the engine compartment. Do a search - lots of info in the files, also - http://www.k6jrf.com/MB_X11.html
