W140 Upper control arm removal
 
Hi,
I want to replace the upper control arms in my 98 s420 because the boots on both sides are torn. Is it a DIY job ??? How does the ball joint come out ????? If someone in the forum has done it please advise. Thanks

I plan to do mine this weekend, and was wondering if any special tools are need to pull the ball joint out of the split clamp?
