Easy Fix For Climate Control Problem
 

For a year my climate control in my 87 300E would not shut off due to a problem with the pushbuttons.... So i thought. It gets to be a pain having to plug in my pressure switch on my drier every time i need some AC! After reading the exerpt in the DIY section on climate control diagnostics i decided to try resolidering all the contacts on the control switchboard. IT WORKED! only took an hour to complete the procedure. Conclusion.. If you suspect the climate control switchboard Try fixing all the cold solider connections before forking up an unbelievable amount of cash for a new one.
